You listened to me.

I have declared my ways and opened my griefs to You, and You listened to me; teach me Your statutes. (Psalm 119:26 AMP)

To think that God doesn’t care to hear our griefs and heartaches is contradictory to His role as our Father. I believe God is honored as our Father when we take time and express our heart to Him. Life pulls us in a hundred different directions, demanding our attention. Its easy to let our minds get distracted while our heart gets neglected. If we’re not careful even the most devoted Christians can slip into a “God already knows” lifestyle where we assume God knows so why tell him? It’s true that God already knows what we have need of before we ask but when we neglect to share our heart with Him we deprive Him and ourselves from the beauty of conversation and communion. We must steady our minds ling enough to let the Holy Spirit encourage our spirit to continue the race and run with endurance.

Why am I awake at 3:20? It’s when the  bite!!!!
